Anna is one of my best friends. I love her and her sweet little family so much. And every time I get my 'fix' from some hang-time with Anna, I really do feel 'Closer to Fine'. A little bit more happy, a little bit more sane, and little bit more at peace with . . . whatever. Anna has a way about her. We all need friends like that.

So yeah, she doesn't look like she had a baby last week. But yeah, that's just how she rolls. She'll be in her skinny jeans next week, probably. Oh, and she's like, Super Mom too. Delivered her sweet baby Colin in less than 20 minutes. No big deal. :)

The Luckiest | Atlanta Wedding Photographer, Summer Lynn |

 It really was an honor to be asked to shoot this wedding. What a beautiful event it was! I couldn't have done it without the help from my long-time friend and assistant for the day, Sara Engel. She is amazingly talented, so check out her website as well!

Britney and John had the fairytale wedding of their dreams on the Bride's family farm, Bogle Farms, here in Georgia. The location makes you feel like you are escaping from 'it all' and breathing in pure goodness.

The chic woodland decor was created by the fabulous designer, Sheila Grubb, and made for the perfect mix of earthy-enchantment.

From the moment I first heard Kim's lovely South African accent, I just knew we would hit it off. Who wouldn't want to be friends with such a lovely, bubbly, expressive, caring person?! She is all of that and more.

I have gotten to watch Kim and Lucio's little family grow over the last two years, and am so happy for their newest addition, little Levi! Little man Luca is now the "big boy" in the house, at less than two years old :)

I couldn't help pulling out a favorite for their song dedication. I mean really, who doesn't secretly jam out to this song in their car?

I know.  I am soooo behind on blogging, and when I get the chance, will put up posts from last fall all the way through Christmas sessions, two gorgeous weddings . . . Much to come! Busy is good ;)


I had to pull out a Whitney favorite for the song dedication. What a voice. I was listening to a "Remembering the Life of an Icon" segment on the radio yesterday, and they played one of her most unexpected hits ever - the Star Spangled Banner from the 1991 Superbowl. And that very last note she sings on the word "Brave" is so beautiful, its almost surreal. You can take a listen here.

So for this very special and fun mommy-and-son Valentine's Day shoot, I got to photograph some of my favorite clients - you may remember them from about a year ago . . . "Better Together"

I love repeat clients! And I especially love when clients become my friends.

Mommy I Love You, Daddy I Love You {Newborn Austin}

What an honor it is when you meet someone for the first time at their newborn's photo shoot! I knew as soon as Nicole answered the door and welcomed me to their home in her sweet South Carolina accent that we would all hit it off :D And as you can see from these captured moments, they let their love for baby Austin shine through. I always feel so lucky when I get to photograph mamas and daddys cuddling their newest addition. And big sister Kate got into the cuddle action as well (especially with the promise of princess cookies!) Zach and Nicole are raising such a beautiful family . . . Can't you just feel the love swirling around?

This song dedication comes from somewhere special, too. "Kimmy Schwimmy" and her family are treasured old friends, and her awesome children's music tops the charts here at our house! Take a listen with your kiddos and you will find yourself transported to your fun, family "happy place" in no time :D

Holiday Mini Sessions are up to 30 minute sessions that are designed specifically to help you get that "perfect shot" to send out to your friends and family over the holidays.

These "mini's" only happen once a year, and contain exclusive pricing AND digital files.

Price: $295 (due at the time of booking)

- Up to 30 minute mini session here in Atlanta at a beautiful outdoor scenic spot (location details will be given to those who sign up)

- 8-10 images, perfectly edited, on an online gallery

- ALL high-res images on a dvd for printing/sharing (this is a very special offer! Usually, printing rights/ownership of images are sold separately at $75 per digital file) This allows you to have full printing rights to your images and use them for holiday cards and prints.
